My name is Hugo Ortega, originally from Mexico. I have made Ottawa my home for the last four years, and I can not get over all of the great surroundings this beautiful city has to offer to its residents and visitors.

As a young IT Professional, I enjoy keeping udpated on current technologies available, especially within the computer field.

The computer field in which I am most passionate for is "Networking Security". For the past couple of years, I have been reinforcing my knowledge in this field by attending seminars, conferences and workshops within Canada and the USA.

However, the practical experience, which I have accumulated within the last four years, has been the most significant in the developement in my professional career. By working full time for a recognized NGO, as their IT Director, it has allowed me to build on important hands on experience in this field.
